In Tyrol, Austria the state-owned hydropower company TIWAG is planning to "expand" the Kaunertal hydropower plant by building three new hydro schemes. This threatens the world-famous Oetz River as well as the water supply to the farmers in the Oetz Valley. Through the voices of environmental experts, conservationists and local residents who will be impacted by this hydro project, this eight-part series from WET helps explain why the Kaunertal Expansion Project should be stopped.
